Resilient Mind
I believe everyone has the potential to thrive regardless of age, gender, race, ability, diagnosis, or experience. But sometimes, life’s challenges have a way of depleting the very internal resources we need to flourish often leaving us with old coping strategies and habits that no longer work. As a consequence, we may struggle for a long time with feelings of fear, confusion, frustration, hurt, and loss. I help clients regain control of their lives by creating a supportive environment where clients can safely explore what is holding them back and develop the skills and insight needed to support long-term wellness.
In my client-centered practice, I use an eclectic therapeutic approach that combines evidence-based interventions derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also incorporate neurobiology and somatic interventions to help clients better understand the brain-body connection to promote change by working with one’s unique physiological response.
If you would like to take the next step towards building a more resilient you, you can set up a free 15-minute phone consultation. I'm currently accepting new teletherapy clients ages 15-115 and will be adding in-person sessions starting May 2022. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
